Rashi & Dhruv
When Two Cities, Seven Events, and One Extraordinary Vision Came Together in Jodhpur
Some couples know exactly who they are. Rashi - rooted in the energy and warmth of Dubai. Dhruv - shaped by the relentless, irreplaceable spirit of Mumbai. Two cities, two personalities, and a love story that began somewhere in between. When it came time to celebrate their wedding in Jodhpur, they brought both worlds with them.
The celebrations unfolded across seven events and four iconic venues - Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, ITC Welcome Hotel, and Radisson Jodhpur - each one designed by Konark Weddings with its own identity, its own palette, and its own reason to be remembered.
It began, as the best wedding celebrations do, not with a grand event but with a quiet, generous gesture. Two all-day lounges were created side by side - one for Rashi, one for Dhruv. Dubai Deira, layered with the colours and warmth of the old souk, served traditional kawa and told the story of her world. Mumbai Meri Jaan brought the hand-painted signage, the chai tapri energy, and the joyful chaos of Dhruv's city to life. Guests moved between the two and understood the couple before the formal celebrations had even begun.
The Welcome Dinner brought Velvet Evenings - deep plum, noir textures, and an intimacy that made a hotel feel like a private home. Umaid Bhawan's House of Royals lunch followed, where deep red and classical detailing let the palace do what it does best.
Then came Mehrangarh Fort, and Frosted Fort Nights - the Sangeet that guests have not stopped talking about. A winter wonderland inside a 15th-century monument, with five igloo installations, a kinetic butterfly garden, a live ballet dancer performing in a frozen floral fantasy, a Ferris wheel at the entrance, and 5,000 blue lights turning the fort into something it had never been before. Every chowk became its own world. By the time guests reached the main arena, they had already experienced five separate installation moments. It was, by any measure, an extraordinary night.
The wedding ceremony at Umaid Bhawan - Palatial Romance - chose softness over spectacle. Ivory, champagne gold, and sage green. Over 6,000 candles. A contemporary varmala pathway. And hidden among the florals, small installations honouring Rashi and Dhruv's dogs, who could not be there in person. It was the kind of detail that says everything about who a couple is.
The week ended as it perhaps had to - with the MAD Gala, an after party built around the idea of joyful, beautiful chaos. Ball pit lounges, eccentric installations, drinks that surprised you. Permission, finally, to be completely unguarded.
Seven events. Two cities. One couple who trusted Konark Weddings to build a week that felt, in every moment, entirely theirs.
